Discovery Group is hosting its second seminar of the Educational Series meant to simplify the technical aspects of Mineral Exploration, which will give you the tools to read news releases, understand maps and fully evaluate what’s happening in this exciting sector.
When: October 4th, 2006, from 2:00PM until 3:15PM
Where: 4th floor of the YWCA at 535 Hornby Street, Vancouver, BC
Format: Bruce Counts, President and CEO of Indicator Minerals Inc.
will be the presenter of this installment of this series. He will talk to attendees about Diamond Exploration in Northern Canada. Topics covered will include diamond generation (how a kimberlite forms), diamond exploration techniques, exploration cycle and understanding results in news releases.
Also at our seminar: Water for People (http://www.waterforpeople.org/) will be collecting a $10 donation at the door and will do a short, introductory presentation. Water for People is an organization that helps those in developing countries to improve their quality of life by developing locally sustainable drinking water, sanitation facilities and health and hygiene education programs.
