Discovery Group Educational Series
Reaching new people through education.
Discovery Group’s Educational Series is a program that translates the technical aspects of Mineral Exploration by giving you the tools to read news releases, understand maps and fully evaluate the market.
Who We Are
The Discovery Group is an alliance of five independent mining and exploration companies that have come together to take advantage of the experience and knowledge shared by the management teams that make up the various companies.
The goal of the Discovery Group’s Educational Series is to teach new people about our Industry by providing information through our monthly seminars and Blog.
Discovery Group Blog
The Discovery Group Blog will provide you the latest market news, aggregated and summarized so you get the full benefit of what is going on in the industry. One quick, easy read and you have the information that interests you!
Our Seminars
At the beginning of every month we host a short seminar where the management of the companies associated with the Discovery Group speak about what they do and how they work.
- You will be able to examine project specimens and core samples
- You will learn who to read the various maps associated with mineral exploration
- You will be able to speak with Industry heads and experts in a casual atmosphere and ask them any questions you may have about their projects and the industry.
Please, come and join us at our first seminar! It will be held on September 5th and the YWCA in down town Vancouver.
We will be asking a donation of $10 for the registered charity, Water For People.
